The cooperation of our company with IBAT Asia, Mr Axel Haase took place from 2001 on. The MYCOSYM Environment GmbH (formerly TRITON Environmental GmbH) has for four years now been working in Southeast Asia with Mr. Michael Haase, Director General of IBAT Asia. Our focus has been on the establishing the use of biological soil additives (mycorrhiza) in reclamation, reforestation and in intensive agriculture. In a short time, IBAT Asia was able to reach the registration of MYCOSYM TRI-TON® in Thailand. Together with scientific partners, various universities research projects were carried out. Here IBAT was responsible for the following tasks: Marketing the ECB technologies in Thailand, identification of suitable partners (eg Royal Entec Group) Preparation of a study on the market situation in the area of used cooking oils and their potential use for biodiesel production, Participation in the preparation of tender documents for a biogas project in Chon Buri, determining the potential for bio-energy projects in the Thai palm oil producers. This organization would be very happy to continue and expand the activities with IBAT Asia in the future.
Mr. Axel Haase, as Director General of IBAT Alternative Technologien, Germany was our partner of GTCC (German Thai Chamber of Commerce) since 2000 and the ITUT GmbH Leipzig (Institute of Technology & Environment Transfer) in Bangkok and the German project leader of the company pool ENVIRONMENT TECHNOLOGY THAILAND. As senior consultant he was responsible for project design and development, coordination and cooperation, human resources, trade fairs and financial administration. Mr. Haase was in charge of many different fields of environment technologies, natural resources and technology transfer. He proved special skills to be fast and efficient to get in contact with heavy hitters and policy maker, to push projects and to finalize it successfully with good and complex ideas. Mr. Haase is able, through his year’s long experience as engineer, to familiarize fast and efficient in different technologies, to adapt country-specific and to communicate with engineers, university staff and ministries. Just as much, he was working to develop the market entrance, certification, provide import licenses, cooperation with Thai partners and to participate in a tender. Our direct cooperation was finalizing with the establishment of his new company IBAT Asia Co., Ltd. We are thankful for this great teamwork, his co-operational manner and professional competence. I worked with Mr. Haase for three years at Pakistan Council for Renewable Energies and Technologies (PCRET) Islamabad, where he worked as an adviser to Director General PCRET for the establishment of solar PV and thermal testing as labeling laboratories according to international standards (IEC-61215, 98062-1, 9806-2 and ISO-17025). Throughout my professional carreer I have never seen a multi-dimensional expert like Mr. Haase who leads his team in all facets (technical, administrative and management) of a project to achieve success.
